A National Indigenous Non-Political Grassroots Movement
Our First Nations non-political grassroots movement draws inspiration from the matriarchal leaders within each individual First Nations Territory community. This approach harks back to a time when cultural practices were strictly adhered to. Wise, humble, and strong Ojibwa/Potawatomi Anishinaabekwe leaders provided guidance in a kind way while leading their respective communities. Meanwhile, the men in each community focused on hunting and providing for their families, generously sharing the Creator’s gifts with all families within the community. This wholistic approach ensured the well-being of all community members and their families, contributing to the betterment of the “whole” community, as a healthy collective.
The moment has come in our shared lifetime on Mother Earth as the original peoples’ of Turtle Island, to unite as one voice, and safeguard our children and future generations who have yet to walk this earth. It is vitally important that we reclaim control of our communities, that now involves the immediate removal of illicit drug dealers and the use of their illicit drugs within our communities. The Anishinaabek are being asked rise up and join in our efforts to eradicate human and sex trafficking, and the trafficking of illicit drugs through and within Indigenous communities across Turtle Island.
We unapologetically assert our Canadian Constitutional inherent rights, United Nations Rights, and Treaty Rights as Aboriginal Sovereign Peoples’ of Turtle Island. Both indigenous rights and aboriginal peoples’ have received clear recognition worldwide. Our sole purpose is to protect our communities, including our children, young adults, Elders, Aunties, Uncles, Grandparents, and those who have yet to walk Mother Earth.
In our shared ‘Nish’ grassroots movement, our unwavering commitment remains steadfast in nurturing the strength, pride, spirit, and wholistic well-being of Territory communities, families, and all peoples’ for seven generations. Culturally guided by our own Territory Anishinaabe Kwe, we extend an invitation to First Nations community members, leaders, and our many ‘friends of the Anishinaabe’ to participate and contribute to our non-political grassroots efforts aimed at protecting our children and families for generations. Your support is crucial, and we will require the assistance of many.
